Vauxhall Launches Astra VXR‎ in UK

Vauxhall’s new Astra VXR will produce more power and torque than any car in its class and will achieve a sub 6-second 0-60mph time – quicker than any main rival – when it arrives in UK showrooms this summer.

Based on the GTC’s platform and powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged direct injection engine, the VXR produces 280PS and a mighty 400Nm of torque – 40-50Nm more than key rivals – enough for it to achieve a top speed of 155mph and accelerate from 0-60mph in just 5.9 seconds. read more »

2013 Audi A6 Allroad Revealed‎

The first two generations of the allroad quattro from the years 2000 and 2006 were winners, and Audi hopes to build on this success with the third generation. The new A6 allroad quattro extends the range of uses for the A6 Avant because when the asphalt ends, it just keeps on driving. Performance has improved and fuel consumption has been reduced by as much as 20 percent compared with the previous model.

The new A6 allroad quattro is 4.94 meters (16.21 ft) long, 1.90 meters (6.23 ft) wide and 1.47 (4.82 ft) meters tall, making it a few millimeters bigger than the Avant. Holden Cruze Wagon Revealed Further‎

A new wagon will join Holden’s popular Cruze line-up within the next 12 months.

The imported model will be the third variant of Holden’s favourite small car and promises to combine the practicality of a wagon with the high-tech features and sporty style that has made Cruze sedan and hatch so popular.

The Chevrolet version of the Cruze wagon made its global premiere at the Geneva Motor Show this month. read more »
